The Sustainable Green Planet Prize (sgp prize) is an international award given annually to Indigenous Peoples and local communities for innovative solutions related to nature, climate and sustainable development solutions. In its first year, 11 Indigenous Peoples projects from eight different countries were honored for creating resilient livelihoods while engaging in climate action within their own communities and beyond borders.
