The hk prize is one of the biggest lotteries in Asia. Proceeds from bets are earmarked for a variety of purposes, including prizes. A 54% deduction is deducted from bets to form the Prize Fund, and the remainder of the proceeds are allocated to various taxes and causes. The draw takes place at the Hong Kong Jockey Club in a highly secure environment and is overseen by a panel of experts. All materials used for the draw, from boxing to transporting, are thoroughly tested and inspected. In addition, a team from the HKJC’s security and customer service departments is present throughout the process to ensure all steps are conducted in accordance with rules.
The winner of the hk prize receives a cash award and an engraved gold medal. In the event of no winners in the 1st and 2nd divisions, this money will be added to a jackpot for the next draw, which can grow to over HK$100 million (compared to the normal HK$8 million for a first-division win).
